Listening, Sharing and Taking Action for Better Health
This slide-show is a pictorial sampling of the 100
community health leaders who attended the AACHEC’s May 3rd Health
Conference at the University of California at San Francisco, Mission
Bay Campus. Participants received the latest data on health outcomes
by race and neighborhoods, explored health policies, participated in
self-care activities and sampled complementary alternative medicines
such as acupuncture, massage and chiropractic services. The conference
theme was: “Living and Dying in San Francisco: Rethinking Health
in the Black Community. To learn more about the conference or upcoming
neighborhood health summits, please contact us. We believe health care
is a human right and good health a personal responsibility.
